What is KnitCol?
Adriafil KnitCol is a super fine from Adriafil. Composition: 75% virgin wool / 25% polyamide. One skein holds 380 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Superwash merino dyed in an eight-colour programmed sequence — knit in plain stockinette and the yarn produces jacquard-effect striping and pattern automatically. The dye repeats are what create the look, so the maker can stay on plain knit/purl and still get colourwork results. Soft enough for next-to-skin wear; stitch definition is clean. Machine washable. Strong fit for hats, mittens, cowls, kids' sweaters and accessories where colour pattern matters without the work of stranded colourwork.
