What is Country?
Alize Country is a medium from Alize, made in Turkey. Composition: 54% cotton / 31% acrylic / 15% polyamide. One skein holds 220 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Super-chunky novelty yarn that mixes acrylic, wool, nylon and a little mohair into a textured, slightly hairy strand. Works up very quickly on huge needles or hooks into bulky, rustic-looking fabric with visible loft and surface interest. Stitch detail softens under the texture, so simple stitches show it off best. Warmth is high for the weight thanks to the wool and mohair. Hand wash and dry flat to protect the surface and prevent matting.
