What is Diva?
Alize Diva is a fine from Alize, made in Turkey. Composition: 100% microfiber acrylic. One skein holds 350 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Smooth microfibre with a silk-like sheen and a fluid, almost cool hand. Drapes heavily, with very little memory — shapes flow downward rather than holding structure, so garments work best when designed around drape (tunic shapes, kimono cardigans). Stitch definition is sharp and shiny; lace and openwork sparkle. Slippery on the needles or hook; rounded tips help. Cold or summer-weight fabric. Machine wash gentle and dry flat; do not iron hot since the fibre is heat-sensitive.
