How the yarn behaves
Heavy jumbo bouclé spun from acrylic, wool and a touch of nylon. The looped surface creates an obvious bumpy texture that masks stitch detail entirely — works at its best in plain stitches where the loops carry the design. Works up very quickly into chunky scarves, jackets, blankets and decorative cushions. Often used as crocheted or knitted doll hair. Hand wash and dry flat to protect the loops from snagging and matting.
