What is Lanagold 800?

Alize Lanagold 800 is a bulky from Alize, made in Turkey. Composition: 49% wool / 51% acrylic. One skein holds 100 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.

How the yarn behaves

Much finer version of the Lanagold wool/acrylic family, almost a lace weight. Useful for delicate items, lightweight shawls, baby garments, lace and projects where a thin wool-blend yarn matters. The acrylic content gives the fabric stability that pure wool laceweight can lack. Halo is minimal compared with mohair-based laces; stitch definition is crisp. Machine wash gentle and dry flat to keep shape and avoid felting.
