What is Softy?
Alize Softy is a super fine from Alize, made in Turkey. Composition: 100% polyamide. One skein holds 115 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.
How the yarn behaves
Soft micropolyester chenille with a velvety surface. Light to handle, very warm to touch, with a natural look and feel. Like other chenilles it can 'worm' if knit too loosely (stitches twist out of place), so a tighter tension and rounded hook or needle tips help control things. Works fast into plush blankets, scarves, cowls and toys. Stitch detail blurs under the velvet, so favour simple stitches. Machine washable; dry on low or flat to protect the surface.
