What is Silken?
Anzula Silken is a fine from Anzula. Composition: 80% superwash merino / 20% silk. One skein holds 285 m of yarn and weighs 114 g.
How the yarn behaves
Half silk, half merino in a fingering balanced for maximum drape. The silk adds shine and weight; the merino keeps the fabric soft and gives it a small amount of memory. Blocks open dramatically — lace patterns sparkle wet-blocked. Strong fit for summer shawls, light wraps, fine garments and decorative accessories. Hand wash cool and dry flat; alternate hand-dyed skeins.
