Araucania Huasco
Chilean handspun-style dk in naturalistic long-colour-change skeins. Rustic and characterful.
What is Huasco?
Araucania Huasco is a light from Araucania. Composition: 100% wool. One skein holds 430 m of yarn and weighs 200 g.
How the yarn behaves
Hand-dyed merino yarn from Araucania's house line — artisan-painted, with rich tonal and semi-solid colourways. Available in multiple weights (DK, Aran, Worsted) under the same Huasco name with different fibre treatments. The base merino is soft and bouncy; stitch definition is clean. Strong fit for sweaters, shawls and accessories where saturated hand-dyed colour matters. Alternate skeins to even out variation.
