Araucania Ranco

What is Ranco?
Araucania Ranco is a super fine from Araucania. Composition: 75% wool / 25% polyamide. One skein holds 400 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Hand-painted sock yarn — wool with nylon for hard-wearing fabric. Variegated colourways with strong colour breaks. Note this base is not superwash, so the yarn will felt with agitation; hand wash and dry flat. Soft hand, crisp stitch definition, traditional sock-yarn character. Strong fit for socks, mitts, shawls and decorative accessories. Currently a discontinued line.
