What is Heritage?
Cascade Yarns Heritage is a super fine from Cascade Yarns. Composition: 75% merino wool / 25% nylon. One skein holds 400 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Smooth, well-balanced sock yarn with superwash merino and nylon. The nylon makes heels and toes durable enough for regular wear; the superwash treatment makes washing easy. Knits up evenly with clean stitch definition for lace, ribbing and cables, so it works well beyond socks — shawls, lightweight cardigans, hats, baby items. Slightly less plump than wool-only fingerings; tighter tension gives a denser, more hard-wearing fabric. Machine wash gentle and tumble dry low. Sold in solids and prints.
