Drops Design Cotton Merino is a light from Drops Design. Composition: 50% cotton / 50% merino wool. One skein holds 120 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.
How the yarn behaves
DROPS Cotton Merino is a year-round yarn blending extra fine merino wool with long-staple cotton. The two fibres are not carded together but spun as separate strands, which preserves the personality of each and gives the yarn both bounce from the merino and breathability and stability from the cotton, with very gentle stitch definition. It is superwash treated and Oeko-Tex certified, making it a top pick for baby and children's garments as well as lightweight adult sweaters, cardigans and accessories, and it crochets cleanly too. It is especially nice for cables, moss stitch and other textured work. Care: machine wash on a gentle cycle and dry flat.
