What is Flora?
Drops Design Flora is a medium from Drops Design. Composition: 65% viscose / 35% cotton. One skein holds 75 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.
How the yarn behaves
DROPS Flora is a fine yarn blending superfine alpaca with Peruvian Highland wool, combining the warmth and softness of alpaca with the structure and resilience of wool. The result is a comfortable everyday yarn with good shape stability and a subtle natural sheen, particularly well suited to colourwork, Nordic patterns, light sweaters, hats, mittens and traditional blankets; it also crochets very cleanly. It is essentially a finer companion to DROPS Lima. The non-superwash construction gives natural fullness and good warmth-to-weight. Care: hand wash cool with wool detergent free of enzymes or optical brighteners and dry flat to preserve loft and shape.
