What is Mora?
Malabrigo Mora is a super fine from Malabrigo. Composition: 100% superwash merino wool. One skein holds 360 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Malabrigo Mora is a luxurious plied yarn made from Bombyx cultivated mulberry silk. It has a sumptuous drape, a high natural lustre and excellent strength typical of silk. The plied structure gives crisp stitch definition along with that characteristic silken sheen, making it a beautiful choice for lace shawls, lightweight scarves, summer tops, special-occasion garments and refined accessories; it crochets exquisitely too. Silk has very little elasticity, so tension matters and fitted garments should be planned with the natural drape in mind. Care: hand wash cool with mild detergent, do not wring or rub, and dry flat. Block gently to bring out pattern and sheen.
