How the yarn behaves
Malabrigo Nube is an unspun spinning fibre made from merino wool, sold as a soft fluffy top in many of the brand's most beloved kettle-dyed colourways. It is milled in Peru and dyed in Uruguay, and is treasured by hand spinners for its loft, softness and dye character. Beyond traditional wheel and spindle spinning, it can be knitted or crocheted directly as roving for a chunky fluffy effect, used for thrummed mittens and slippers, or for needle felting and wet felting projects. As pure untreated wool, it will felt readily with heat and agitation, which is useful for felting; finished spun yarns should be hand-washed cool and dried flat to avoid unintentional felting.
