How the yarn behaves
Malabrigo Seis Cabos is a multi-ply yarn made from superfine merino wool. The name means 'six plies' in Spanish, and the yarn is meticulously crafted by tightly twisting six fine plies together. This creates a distinctive rounded texture along with extra strength, body and resilience compared with single-ply worsted bases, and the yarn is exceptionally well behaved: it does not split and shows crisp stitch definition. It is suitable for next-to-skin garments, cables, textured stitches, hats, mittens, accessories and even lightweight blankets, and equally comfortable in crochet. Kettle-dyed in Malabrigo's signature painterly palette. Care: hand wash cool with mild wool detergent and dry flat; avoid agitation as the merino base is not superwash treated.
