Malabrigo Susurro Linen
Merino-linen DK with a rustic earthy feel. The linen adds structure and breathability for summer-friendly garments.
What is Susurro Linen?
Malabrigo Susurro Linen is a light from Malabrigo. Composition: 80% merino wool / 20% linen. One skein holds 200 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Malabrigo Susurro (sometimes called Susurro Linen) is a single-ply yarn blending mulberry silk, merino wool and linen. The fibre combination is deliberately contrasting: linen brings crisp structure and a textured surface, silk adds drape, lustre and even a hint of metallic sheen, and merino contributes softness and warmth. The result is a breathable, light and visually rich summer yarn perfect for shawls, lace, lightweight tops, cardigans, scarves and elegant accessories. It crochets beautifully for textured fabrics. The fabric softens noticeably with washing as the linen blooms. Care: hand wash cool with mild detergent, do not wring, and dry flat. Limited elasticity means careful tension on fitted garments.
