What is Baby Cashsoft Worsted?
Rowan Baby Cashsoft Worsted is a medium from Rowan. Composition: 57% merino wool / 33% acrylic / 10% cashmere. One skein holds 100 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.
How the yarn behaves
Rowan Baby Cashsoft Worsted is the heavier sibling of Baby Cashsoft Merino, blending wool, acrylic and cashmere goat fibre. It delivers a thoughtfully balanced fabric that is irresistibly soft against the skin while remaining durable and machine washable, even though it is not formally superwash treated. It is ideal for baby and children's cardigans, sweaters, hats, blankets and accessories, and equally suitable for adult garments and accessories. Cables, ribbing and texture come through clearly. Care: machine wash on a gentle cycle and dry flat (no tumble dry); iron on a low setting if needed; no bleach. The cashmere content responds best to gentle handling.
