Rowan Four Seasons
Cotton-linen DK for all-year use. Natural breathable fibres create elegant summer and transitional garments.
What is Four Seasons?
Rowan Four Seasons is a light from Rowan. Composition: 60% cotton / 40% linen. One skein holds 180 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Cotton with a touch of acrylic micro to add lightness, stability and bounce that pure cotton lacks. Smooth surface with crisp stitch definition, a quiet matt look and far less weight than plain cotton at the same gauge. The acrylic helps the fabric hold shape across seasons — not too cool, not too warm. Drape sits between cotton's flow and acrylic's body. Good for textured stitches, cables and cardigans for layering. Machine wash on a gentle cycle. Limited true wear-stretch — swatch fitted garments after washing.
