What is Kid Classic?
Rowan Kid Classic is a medium from Rowan. Composition: 70% lambswool / 22% kid mohair / 8% polyamide. One skein holds 140 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.
How the yarn behaves
Lambswool plied with kid mohair and a little polyamide. The mohair gives a soft halo that softens stitch edges, while the lambswool keeps shape and elasticity. Lighter than it looks on the needles, with good warmth and a noticeably gentle hand. Halo grows after washing, so the fabric you swatch will fluff out a little once blocked — plan for it. Works well in stockinette and simple textures; busy cables can get lost under the halo. Hand wash and dry flat; brush gently to restore the halo if it flattens.
