How the yarn behaves

Single-strand it knits into a cobweb-fine fabric ideal for wedding shawls and airy wraps; held double or paired with a fingering merino it makes soft, lightly haloed sweaters. The silk lends drape and a faint sheen; the mohair traps warmth without weight. Ripping out is the main practical pain — the halo catches itself; pull slowly and steam if needed. Hand wash cool, lay flat.
