What is Merino Aria?
Rowan Merino Aria is a super fine from Rowan. Composition: 100% merino wool. One skein holds 400 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.
How the yarn behaves
Bouclé-chainette bulky merino with a hint of nylon for structure. The chainette is loose, so fabric feels airy and puffy rather than dense, with good warmth-to-weight. Stitches are softer-edged than in a tight ply, but cables and ribbing still read clearly. The hollow core means the yarn can squash and recover, giving knitted pieces a pleasant springiness. Works fast on chunky needles. Hand wash and reshape — the chainette can twist and flatten if wrung. A gentle steam restores the loft.
