How the yarn behaves
Scheepjes Stone Washed XL is the heavier sibling of the original Stone Washed, made from cotton blended with acrylic. The signature two-tone semi-solid finish is preserved at the heavier weight, producing fabrics with a lovely depth of colour. It is well suited to cosy garments, cushion covers, baskets, throws, market bags, statement accessories and chunky amigurumi, in both knit and crochet, where it works up quickly. The cotton component softens further with washing, while the acrylic keeps things stable and easy care, with no animal-fibre concerns. Care: machine wash on a gentle cycle and dry flat to preserve shape and the soft hand.
