What is Silk Cloud?
Shibui Knits Silk Cloud is a lace from Shibui Knits. Composition: 60% kid mohair / 40% silk. One skein holds 320 m of yarn and weighs 25 g.
How the yarn behaves
Brushed mohair-silk laceweight — soft halo with quiet shine from the silk. Almost weightless on the needles, blooms into a fluffy halo after blocking. Strong fit for lace shawls held alone or paired with another yarn to add halo to a workhorse base. Hand wash cool and lay flat; rip-back can catch in the halo so pull slowly and steam if needed.
