What is Baby Cotton?

YarnArt Baby Cotton is a light from YarnArt, made in Turkey. Composition: 60% cotton / 40% acrylic. One skein holds 165 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.

How the yarn behaves

Cotton-acrylic blend balanced about half and half. Breathable like cotton, springy and stable like acrylic; lighter than pure cotton at the same gauge. Smooth surface with clean stitch definition — popular for amigurumi where it holds shape over stuffing, and for baby and kids' garments. Hand wash to preserve the soft hand; gentle machine wash also works. The acrylic content helps the fabric resist sagging over long pieces.
