What is Mink?

YarnArt Mink is a bulky from YarnArt, made in Turkey. Composition: 100% polyamide. One skein holds 160 m of yarn and weighs 50 g.

How the yarn behaves

Polyamide novelty yarn with a soft, slightly furry surface and a faintly suede-like sheen. The fibre is fluffy enough to hide stitches, so plain stockinette and simple crochet show it off best. Warmer than its weight suggests, soft and plush against the skin. Works well for cardigans, scarves, cowls, hats and decorative trims. Hand wash gentle and dry flat to keep the surface from matting. Sheds a little early on.
