What is Wool?

YarnArt Wool is a light from YarnArt, made in Turkey. Composition: 100% wool. One skein holds 200 m of yarn and weighs 100 g.

How the yarn behaves

Wool-leaning blend with nylon for added strength. The wool gives warmth, memory and a wool-like next-to-skin feel; the nylon makes the yarn more durable than a wool-only equivalent — useful for socks, mitts and other high-wear items. Stitch definition is crisp for cables, ribbing and colourwork. Hand wash and dry flat to preserve the wool content; not superwash, so avoid agitation that could felt the surface.
